Why Not Just Take Psyllium Husk?

Well, honestly? Taste, texture, water requirements, pooping effects. Fibes and Psyllium differ in each, and we think we make a pretty good case for giving Fibes a go!

Ingredients

With no added sugar, naturally sweetened, no fillers, and no added colours. Our white blend contains the best fibre sources you can ask for.

Tapioca resistant starch: Unlike regular starch, this ingredient acts as an insoluble fibre until it arrives in your large intestine, where it breaks down and gets fermented by your microbes, ensuring your gut bacteria is nourished, all the way through.

Soluble Corn Fibre: is a powerful ingredient that helps suppress the rise of post prandial blood glucose level (post meal sugar spikes).

Sunfiber® PHGG: promotes a healthy digestive balance, without excess gas or bloating associated with (some) other fibres.

Actazin® Green Kiwifruit powder: aids digestion, bloating and abdominal discomfort, through a digestive enzyme, actadin. As a natural source of fibre, enzymes, polyphenols and minerals, which supports normal bowel function.

Flavour and sweetener: Fibes Co. uses natural stevia leaf extract, to provide natural sweetness, without adding significant calories, or other downsides. While natural flavours provide the distinct, delicious taste, you'll love.

Directions

01. Start Slow New to high-quality fibre? Give your gut 3–5 days to adjust by starting with just half a serving.

02. Find Your Flow Once settled, take one 1 table spoon (level to slightly heaped) daily. This is your baseline for a happy microbiome.

03.Fibermaxing Want to maximize your insides? Slowly work your way up to two servings a day.

Note: Fibre works best with fluids. Drink plenty of water.

Not suitable for individuals with bowel obstruction or those who have difficulty swallowing. Limit to two servings a day.

If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition, consult your health professional before use.

Taste and Texture

We doubled down on taste

If you've tried plain psyllium, you know the taste is... gross.
But even some popular flavoured ones are pretty questionable, despite many having artificial colours, artificial flavours, and sugar/synthetic sweeteners.

Fibes was designed around 3 core ideas; Fibre diversity, something that taste amazing, and was pleasantly smooth.
It actually took 6 iterations to get to what we've landed on. Months of trials, testing, sampling, and eventually we landed on (what we believe is) the best tasting Fibre supplement there is.

Smooth, natural raspberry flavour, a subtle sweetness. Something we're confident you'll genuinely enjoy.

Because the worse way to take a fibre supplement is by not taking it. So by making it enjoyable, we're sure you'll love taking it daily.

Real Users, Real Results

The positive impact of Fibes is undeniable. Despite being skeptical at first, the results began to speak for themselves. Although during initial consumption I began to feel quite gassy, once I was able to tweak my intake to an amount suitable for me it was great. Reduced time in the bathroom from 15 minutes to 1 minute. Plus only having to wipe twice is an extremely underrated feeling. Highly recommend.

Fibes Co somehow made fibre actually enjoyable. Instead of the usual chalky powder situation, it’s a tasty little fruit pouch that keeps your gut happy and your digestion moving like Sydney traffic after peak hour. Easy, convenient, and surprisingly good. Your stomach will thank you… probably quite loudly.

Fibre Diversity

Fibre is a category, and you shouldn't rely on just one type

Psyllium is a viscous fibre which holds onto water and expands into a gel. But what about fermentability? Where's the diversity?

Relying on just one type of fibre is limiting. Especially since different fibres do different things.

We're not saying Fibes tackles every permutation of fermentation kinetics, but it certainly has more diversity. 4 functional ingredients, 10g of fibre. IDK if there's much more to say...

Water Requirements & Pooping Effects

Do you like downing a litre of water for your fibre supplement?

For 10g of fibre from psyllium husk you're recommended between 750ml-900ml of water.
For 10g of fibre from Fibes (1 serve) you're recommended 250ml.

This isn't just a labelling thing. It goes back to our first point of texture. Psyllium swells up immensely, Fibes doesn't.

If you're happy to drink an immense amount of water in one go, just for a few extra grams of fibre, then no worries. But if you're not willing to... then the toilet experience will definitely be worth looking into.

Without enough water psyllium can cause or worsen constipation. That's not to say it definitely doesn't help, when taken correctly. It's just that Fibes doesn't require as large of an amount of water. Yeah, you still need to stay well hydrated. But honestly you should be drinking water, seriously.

Fibre maths

What 10 grams
actually looks like.

Most Australians get around 12 to 18 grams of fibre a day, well short of the recommended 27 to 38. The gap is real, and the foods that feel fibre-rich usually aren't.

Every serve of Fibes delivers 10 grams of fibre. This is what it takes to match a single serve with food alone.
